Odell Education has collaborated with numerous national organizations, states, districts and schools to create and implement CCSS-aligned educational programs.
OE supported the development of their Raise The Bar website for families. OE designed and developed the website’s Reading Adventure Quizzes for Grades 2-8 and the Reading Library.
NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
OE supported the development of Common Core Assessments for Grades 3-8 and Regents. OE has provided NYSED with technical and content expertise for the development of assessment specifications, documentation, processes and ELA content.
USNY REGENTS RESEARCH FUND
OE supported the design and development of OER curriculum for their EngageNY website. OE has designed and participated in professional development for NY teachers and educators around implementation of CCSS.
K-12 OER COLLABORATIVE
OE was selected in a competitive bidding process to develop a Prototype Unit for the K-12 OERC, a group of 12 states seeking to develop OER curriculum for their educators. OE’s prototype unit, Historical Narratives and Perspectives: The USS Jeannette’s 1879 Voyage to the North Pole, develops students’ understanding of historical narrative, primary and secondary sources, and author’s perspective.
OE supports numerous educational organizations and institutions with training and technical expertise including New York’s Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), Google for Education, the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME), and Achieve.
OE has supported schools and districts implementing OE curriculum including Bay Shore School District on Long Island, Vintage High School in Napa Valley, Gestalt Community Schools in Memphis, and the Urban Assembly Maker Academy in New York.
