Assessment
Interim Assessments
The Odell Education Grades 9-10 Interim Assessment (IA) System is a cohesive year-long set of assessments that measure reading comprehension, evidence -based writing, and standard English conventions. The assessments includes a range of authentic literary and informational texts and a variety of multiple-choice and constructed-response questions, as well as short and extended essays.
The IA System can be used flexibly with any curriculum. Each IA is divided into sessions that can be administered individually or grouped to make a longer assessment. The IA system is also aligned to the content and tasks of the Developing Core Literacy Proficiencies (CLP) Program allowing for a comprehensive and cohesive, year-long instruction and assessment program.
